Mica Lubricant is a non-toxic industrial lubricant. Mica Lubricant is used to prevent thread seizure and thread damage. The most common applications are on spark plugs (prevents seizure to the cylinder head) and on threaded gas turbine spark igniters (prevents seizure to shielding and burner can threads). Most other anti-seize products on the market are metallic. Mica Lubricant is a non-metallic anti-seize compound and therefore is not electrically conductive. Users of Mica Lubricant greatly reduce the chance of “electrical shorts” caused by careless application of anti-seize compound. Application Instructions: Apply a few drops on the third thread from the base of the spark plug. Reduce spark plug manufacturer’s installation torque values by 20% when using Mica Lubricant.
