The Hoof Boss Mobile Basic Goat Hoof Trimming Set is a portable electric hoof trimming tool designed for goat owners who maintain small herds of meat or dairy goats. The Mobile holster accepts a DeWalt 20V rechargeable lithium-ion battery or compatible replacement. The battery is NOT INCLUDED with the trimming set. This mobile hoof care system can be used anywhere thanks to the innovative holstered battery connected to the tool with a short, unobtrusive cord. The battery powered Hoof Boss provides the same power as the electric plug-in version while giving you the freedom to move comfortably around your animals. The Basic Goat Set includes premium tungsten carbide grinding discs designed for different hoof conditions and trimming needs. Blue Disc – Medium Grit Best for goats, sheep and pigs. The blue medium grit disc offers a balanced combination of material removal and finishing capability. It works especially well for regularly maintained hooves or smaller hooves that do not require aggressive trimming. It is also a popular option when working with goats recovering from hoof issues. Silver Disc – Extra Coarse Designed for maximum material removal in the shortest amount of time. This disc works best for larger goat breeds such as Boer goats, bucks with very hard hooves, or animals living in dry or cold climates where hooves become extremely tough. Purple Disc – Fine Dome Top This fine grit finishing disc features a dome profile that allows precise smoothing of the hoof wall and final shaping after trimming.
